Terms and Conditions
Booking Conditions / Cancellation / Payment Policy:
- Payments:
- At the time of booking, the full cost will be charged to the guest’s card.
- Cancellation Policy:
- Guests can cancel free of charge minus any transactions fees up to 7 days before arrival date.
- Cancellations made within 7 days of arrival will be charged the full booking amount.
- Refunds are process within 5-10 working days but may take longer to arrive in recipients banks depending on bank.
- No-Show Policy:
- If a guest fails to check in on the determined arrival date without giving us prior notice, the full booking amount will have been charged, and the reservation will be considered cancelled.
- Early Departures & Modifications:
- If a guest leaves earlier than scheduled, the unused nights are non-refundable.
- Date modifications are subject to availability and must be made by the guest through their booking confirmation
- Check-in & Check-out:
- Check-in: From 14:00
- Check-out: By 11:00
- Larger bookings:
Different booking / cancellation policies may apply for larger bookings 2 or more rooms. Guests will be informed of specific terms soon after the time of booking. We reserve the right to cancel any larger booking should we feel the booking is not in the best interests of Us the property owners / operators and the other guests who are due to stay on those nights.
- Hen, Stag, Other Parties:
- We do not accept Hen, Stag or any other type of parties whatsoever. We operate a quiet guesthouse with every guest`s wellbeing in mind. If such a party arrives to our guesthouse we reserve the right to and will cancel the booking either before / on check in or during the stay without refund.
- Exceptional Circumstances:
- We do strongly advise all guests to take out travel insurance to cover any possible potentialities like a flight cancellation or an illness. We cannot be held responsible for such possibilities.
- Who We Cannot Accommodate:
- For Insurance reasons we cannot accommodate children under 10 years of age. Pets are not accommodated at our guesthouse. Anyone from 10-18 unless they are accompanied by an adult.
- Our guesthouse has steps into the house and stairs leading to the bedrooms so for persons with issues walking up steps / stairs or of reduced mobility this guesthouse will not be suitable.
- We reserve the right to take a 300€ deposit and / or recognised identification from any guest at check in. Once everything is left as it was on arrival, with no damage or disturbance caused the deposit will be refunded.
- For Insurance reasons alcohol cannot be consumed in our guesthouse, the garden or any of the area surrounding our guesthouse.
T & Cs:
Booking Terms: These booking terms ('Booking Terms') are between the guesthouse (referred to as ‘We’/’Us’/’Our’) named under the ‘Reservation Confirmed with’ section of the Booking confirmation ('Booking Confirmation') and the person or legal entity making the Booking (‘You/Your’). These Booking Terms are for the provision of accommodation services ('Booking(s)') by Us to You. These Booking Terms are governed by Irish law and apply to all Bookings. By making a Booking You are deemed to accept and be bound by these Booking Terms. When You make a payment using a credit / debit card, We (or Our parent company or Our trading name if different) will be displayed as the merchant of record. Bookings are made and a contract between You and Us comes into effect when We accept a reservation from You. We will accept a reservation when We have confirmed Your reservation and received either: (i) full payment of the total price; or (ii) payment of a deposit equivalent to the value of the first night stay; (iii) any other amount We have specified at the time of Your booking; or (iv)We have agreed to collect payment from You before arrival. Where a deposit or any other amount that is less than the total value of the stay is paid, the balance will be taken from your card on any day from the 7 day cancellation period to your day of arrival. If there are any issues collecting this or any other payments, your booking will be deemed null and void and be cancelled by our system. It is your responsibility to ensure cards are in date and sufficient funds are available to make all payments due. You must be able to enter into a legally binding contract and be over 18 years of age to make a Booking. Bookings must be paid for using a valid credit or debit card or any other payment type specified by Us. When Your Booking is confirmed, a reservation number is given. This number must be retained for access to Your Booking details if cancellation or amendment is necessary. You will need to quote this reservation number if contacting Us.
Prices: All prices include VAT where applicable at the current rate. Prices are per room per night. Prices do not include other costs You may choose to incur during Your stay (unless otherwise stated). Prices quoted are correct (unless a pricing error occurs) only for the specific number of guests, dates, nights and rooms shown. In the rare case that We are unable to accommodate You as per Your Booking, You will be offered alternate accommodation by Us and if there is a difference in the Price, You will be liable for the price differential. If the differential is less than the original value of Your Booking a refund of the difference will be made to You. Earliest check in time and latest check out time are specified on Your Booking Confirmation.
Cancellations & Amendments: If You cancel Your Booking on or before the cancellation deadline specified in the Cancellation Policy section of Your Booking Confirmation (the ‘Cancellation Deadline’) a full refund will be given including any booking extras paid at the time of Your Booking minus any possible booking fees if applicable. If You cancel Your Booking after the Cancellation Deadline You will be charged the full value of Your booking, including any booking extras You have selected for the duration of Your stay. Should You change the number of guests, dates, room nights or room type (“Amendment”), then the prices are subject to change. Should You request an Amendment and should We not be in a position to accommodate Your Amendment, Your Booking will be cancelled and a full refund given to You provided that such cancellation occurs on or before the Cancellation Deadline, failing which the terms described in this Cancellation clause shall apply.
Payment: The total amount payable to confirm Your Booking is quoted in Your Booking Confirmation and will be charged to Your credit or debit card or any other payment type offered at the time of Booking or before you arrive on the day of check in. Your card statement will display Us (or Our parent company or Our trading name if different) as the merchant of record. All additional goods and services purchased during Your stay must be paid in full directly with Us.
We Do Not Accommodate: Our guesthouse has steps into the house and stairs leading to the bedrooms so for persons with issues walking up steps / stairs or of reduced mobility this guesthouse will not be suitable. Please be advised we do not accept Stag, Hen or any other type of parties at our property and any bookings suspected of being of this nature will not be accommodated and will be cancelled on check in or during the stay if it is found to be such a party without refund.
Pets are not accepted at Our guesthouse.
For Insurance reasons children under 10 years of age cannot be accommodated at Our guesthouse. Anyone between 10 and 18 must be accompanied by an adult. We reserve the right to take a 300€ deposit from any guest at our own discretion and should any damage be caused, disruption to other guests during their stay, the deposit will be non refundable upon check out.
Liability: Other than for death or personal injury caused by Our negligence or fraudulent misrepresentation, Our total liability to You is limited to the price of the Booking and in no circumstances will We be responsible to You for any indirect or special damages. We will not be liable for failure to provide the services to the extent that the failure is caused by any factor beyond Our reasonable control. We are in no way responsible for any vehicles or their contents whilst parked at Our guesthouse or close to Our guesthouse and occupants should exercise caution and keep valuables / luggage hidden / locked up and hidden in vehicles at all times. You are responsible for any damage or loss caused to Us, including any damage to Our property by Your act, omission, default or neglect and You agree to indemnify Us and You agree to pay Us on demand the amount reasonably required to make good or remedy any such damage or loss. Further, we reserve the right to terminate Your Booking immediately without being liable for any refund or compensation where You engage in unacceptable behaviour that causes a disturbance or nuisance to Our other guests.
Data protection: We will process the information You provide to Us in accordance with the relevant data protection legislation.
Alcohol Consumption:
For Insurance reasons the consumption of alcohol is not allowed in our guesthouse or in the garden / general area of Our guesthouse.
